"My husband and I had a dinner date there. It was fantastic. The scenery was spectacular. The service was exceptional. The food was to die for. The quail bites were exquisite. The steak was very delicious and oh so tender. It was a little pricey but well worth it. I know I will be dining there again. I highly recommend Wildcatter to my family and friends!"

"We spent NYE at Wildcatter Ranch and enjoyed it a lot. This is a retreat for ones who appreciate nature, a star- lit sky, and the Texas hill country. It will not disappoint. Watching the sunset on the back porch was a highlight. The walking trails are wooded and lined with beautiful native rocks. We didn’t use the pool but it’s an infinity pool with a nice view next to a hot tub. Our party stayed in both hotel and..."

"We had the best stay at the Wildcatter Ranch! We stayed in one of the cabins and there was so much room for our family of 4 plus our dogs. The cabin was so great and we had the best view outside our back door! The staff was very helpful, especially Shannon. She's the best person with great energy. The food at the steakhouse was delicious, I can't recommend their Chicken Fried Strak enough and their daily breakfast. We will..."

"Stayed in OT's Cabin with 2 adults and 2 kids for my birthday. We hiked, groomed a horse with the kids, enjoyed the steakhouse for one (amazing) meal (views from Lonesome Dove Wall or patio are exquisite)! Lots for the kids to explore and fun to see the Longhorns up close! All staff were super helpful and I was particularly impressed with check in, check out, and trip planning/add-ons all available on the travel portal you can access after creating..."

"My husband and I visited from Staten Island and spent three days exploring the Stockyards before heading to Wildcatter Ranch for the true Texas experience — and it did not disappoint! We stayed in one of the cabins, which was comfortable and had a lovely outdoor seating area to take in the stunning landscape. The property is beautifully maintained, and we took part in several activities (all worth it). Our morning horseback ride (90 minutes) was incredible, and as first-time..."

"We truly had a wonderful week here with my co-workers. The location and views were beautiful, and there were lots of fun activities to enjoy. The staff were so kind and fun to talk to every day! A special thank you to Grace, who walked us through archery; Heather, our server for lunches and dinners; and Terri, who welcomed us and made sure we had a great breakfast each morning. Shoutout to Pie, our bartender, who made our evenings a..."

"My wife and two sons (now 24 and 21) had an extremely positive stay at Wildcatter Ranch & Resort + Steakhouse, and it felt great to return after 11 years. The staff here are incredibly accommodating — they answered every question we had, and if they didn’t know something, they made sure to find out and get back to us right away. Kudos to Shannon for going above and beyond. Prices throughout the resort were very reasonable, which was a..."
